These little Webb lawnmowers are well known to us collectors, made from 1950 until 1965, a tin mower, made as a toy for children. With the advertising logo 'just like dads', they're a great little mower, not really designed to cut grass, driven by a round rubber belt from the rear land roll to the cylinder, any obstruction, little fingers etc, the cutting cylinder would stop as the rubber band slips on the pulleys. Toby loves his and it comes out whenever we're mowing the lawn. He gets a few strands of grass in his grass box which he gets really exited about. early machines had wooden grips not rubber.
