Hello

This is my 1971 Hayterette in perfect working order, not too shabby to say it’s getting on to 50 years of age.

you can’t see it in this particular image but, the only issue is it’s missing one of the red plastic center caps from the wheels.

anyone have a spare? Or know of any for sale.

they never seem to show up on a certain auction site & would prefer not to go the route of another donor machine for the sake of such a small part.

regards

Martin

Hi Martin,

Maybe you have a 3D printing company close by that is willing to make a copy from an original?

Good evening

Henno, that is actually a very good suggestion I never would have thought of it to be honest.

i shall do a little research on local companies & see what I could come up with.

Regards

Martin

I know what you mean about buying whole machines for the sake of a spare part - spirals into making good of the donar machine!

One off printed parts are not that cheap, but it is a bit of a cottage industry with lots of people with decent printers these days.

As an aesthetic part with no load material will be cheaper too.
