An 1892 product of Ransomes, Sims & Jefferies, this was a sidewheel mower of conventional design deriving from the export-only "Paris" and the home-marketed "New Paris" designs. By 1915 the original machine had been superseded by the No.2 version which was then being offered in 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 & 20 inch sizes at prices ranging from £1.10.0d to £4.5.0d (grass boxes extra). The 10 inch mowers and upwards were fitted with a 6-bladed cutting cylinder. Colour scheme was pale blue.
