Hi, my name is Sean.
I've been collecting mowers for many years and my collection doubled in size when my father very sadly passed away nearly four years ago. I collect mainly push mowers from pre 1940's but have a few petrol ones as a token of self propelled mowers.
Of the push mowers my main interest are the mowers manufactured by T. Green & Son Ltd. The weather has been so amazing over the last couple of days that I decided to get a few mowers out ( the ones quickest and easy to reach ) of my workshop and hold my own small mower display. I hope you enjoy the photos. Sean

Hi Sean. Welcome to the Club.

Hi Sean. Welcome to the Club. Nice show of mowers you have there. I did have at one time a couple of Green's push mowers, not pre 1940s but the 12" and 14" Zephyr models which I enjoyed using whilst I had them. Couple of photos of them should you be interested. Cheers. Rob

Thanks for sharing the

Thanks for sharing the Zephyrs. Unfortunately the photos have come out extremely elongated for some reason but no worries. I'm absolutely hooked on Greens pre 1940's. It's nice to find someone else who appreciates them. I don't have a Zeohyr - the nearest thing to that I've got is a Greens Prince.

That looks a nice selection,

That looks a nice selection, with some real oldies in it. What's the one at the front in the first photo? Some bits look very Qualcast 16, but others don't.

Ahhh, thought someone might ask that. It's an Arundel Coulthard ( Presto) Not a very common mower at all. They don't often turn up. I know I'm lucky with the condition of this one and feel privileged  to own it. Thanks for your interest. Kindest regards Sean

Messorestore, I have an

Messorestore, I have an Arundel Coulthard Presto which I have not started work on due to other projects, do you have any technical information on it, or a manual/parts list? Mine has no magneto cover and the drive chain is incomplete, seeing yours may move it up the list of machines to work on!

Hi, sadly I have no technical info. I was very fortunate to get mine pretty much as it is in good order. One suggestion I have is that depending upon where you are, you could come and look at mine for pointers. Thanks Sean
