I have the engine below which I believe to be an Aspero/ Techusmeh the only numbers I can find are 1328028 on crankcase and 31.02.151 on flywheel maybe they are just part numbers it has a Ducati ignition and Dellorto FHC 20.3 carb

Engine. Probably an Aspera H30/35 (Tecumseh made under licence in Italy). Usually an ID plate riveted to the blower housing .

Parts. Wherever you can find them; eBay ,  Hailsham Mower Centre, or Meadowbrook Enterprises,  for starters, plus Euro Carb for Dellorto parts.

Thanks Wristpin

sadly no  plate or number anywhere. Do you have any engine spec, ie bore. I need some bits and pieces but can't start search until I know which model it is. Cheers

This club is amazing

wrist pin, bloody cock on !!  It's the very one. Ive now measured the bore and stroke so I know it's a 127cc engine, I've seen that number somewhere in my research but need to establish if its a 25,30 or 35 engine. Your manual covers all three. I'm almost there. An observation,  I ran my own machine manufacturing company for 45years, parts procurement wasn't always easy, but compared to lawnmower restoring it was a freekin breeze !!! Thanks again all

Not helped by the physical dimensions of those three models being  identical, so if the numbers refer to power output any differences are probably in carburettion / breathing, and top governed speed. Service parts  , coils, condensers, points and gaskets are almost certainly the same for all three and several other Aspera / Tecumseh engines of the same era.

If you need to go into the valves the clearance for both is between 8 and 12 thou”; beware of over gapping the exhaust which will cancel out the   compression release for easier starting and probably give a nasty snatch.Set both valve clearances with the piston 1/4” down the bore after top dead centre.

Morning

You're right all service parts only have one pt no. However there are two sizes of block to cover three models. I need a piston ring set so I'll ring around  the suppliers. Parts list and drawing a great help though. Cheers
