JP Maxees restoration

Hi,

any tips for removing the cutter shaft and blades from a JP maxees?

I've removed the bearings but the shaft is still attached to the side panel. I removed one end but the housing around the bearings, on the cutter side, was so badly rusted that the shaft slipped through easily. The other end is in better condition so I can't easily get the cutter blades shaft removed.

Any tips?

 Thanks,

Karl

I'm taking one of these on this coming wednesday with some other stock and I'll be cleaning and recoating it as it's in near perfect condition. so I'll be able to advise where possible. let me know if you still need any help. would be more than happy to help you with such a gorgious mower. I acquired mine through a good friend as part of a stock order so am looking forward to giving this model a home.
