ref paint codes in technical help what do these numbers relate to? have given info to paint retailer and they have not heard of them

Hi, you are not alone in that discovery, all of the vehicle paint suppliers and users that I have spoken to only use BS or RAL colour codes or worse still what ever numbering system their paint manufacturer uses.

The NCS or Natural Colour System is an international system that is supposed to make colour recognition more reliable - maybe we have been unfortunate in finding suppliers that did not recognise it.
