Dear all.

First off, I'd like to thank those who've known me and supported me, guided me and generally had a good laugh with. This site is an amazing place for all to get to know and restore vintage mowers and equipment.

It is with a degree of sadness that I announce that Redfern Vintage Mower Restorations is no longer in operation as of today (Sunday 10th March). It has been a very difficult decision for me to make, however - due to some difficult circumstances that have ground certain parts of what I care about to a halt, It's time to close the doors for the last time.

Over the past few years, I've undertaken a number of general and specialist restorations and enjoyed every one of them. Meeting clients, suppliers and people who have helped shape what Redfern Vintage Mower Restorations became. It now fills me with a level of sadness that my work, my dreams, hopes and challenges is to end.

The site will be kept open as a reference or contact point for anyone wishing to get hold of me..

It's funny when you walk into a workshop and memories of early restorations, sounds and smells become distant echoes..

Anyway, I'll still be around on the OLC, so don't think I've left just yet. I still support the club in what way I can.

take care and happy mowing.

Ed...
