Hello everyone, I recently got the above mower and have got it up and running today. all was well until the throttle cable snapped...

ive looked online but can't find a replacement, could anyone point me in the right direction?

the manual I got with the mower says the part number is E.7165

If the cable is unobtainable

If the cable is unobtainable with a bit of skill, or a friend who restores old motorcycles you could make one. Use a bike derailleur gear inner cable. Unsolder the throttle lever nipple ( if it's an old cable with brass nipple )and as long as you keep the lengths correct and fit the adjuster first it should work  . Otherwise I have made a new nipple from a brass spindle or screw of correct diameter, drilled and countersunk for the cable and then cut to length. Bit fiddly though

Similar cable to that used on

Similar cable to that used on Colts and a variety of other Suffolks. Plenty around.
