I have found a way to treat these mk12 Certes handles with evaporust without having to use an enormous tray which would use an enormous amount of evaporust which is very expensive. The idea is I treat the rust without removing the original paint thus keeping some of the antique patina. The tube is easily moved from one leg to another when needed. If anyone has a better method I would love to know. Evaporust only works above room temperature so ive stuffed blue tack in the top to reduce evaporation and reduce spillage risk which means it can come in the house. Wife not happy though!
