One for Colin
I’d like to make a request for an item to be added to the club shop,
i had the idea last week on holiday, in the caravan,
like me, most club members, and collectors have trailers, and a few may have caravans, can we please have an Old Lawnmower Club tow hitch cover available to purchase please, i would buy two and proudly cover my hitch with it every time away on site. Also, looking around the camp site, people don their vans with flags, it’s another idea to promote the club with flags, bumper stickers, tow ball covers etc etc, at the last agm, the accounts looked great and Keith asked for suggestions, let’s spend some money on promoting the club, I wear my new T-shirt everywhere and always creates a conversation about the club.

Thanks Colin, I did think the roundel was a window sticker for the inside of glass or do you do both, If it’s a sticker I will be ordering a few shortly for the van, trailer took box etc etc,
You are correct Lee, the '…
You are correct Lee, the ' car sticker ' is designed to go on the inside of the windscreen. However it is a relatively simple matter to have the ' stick ' on the back instead. I'm getting some printed, having elbowed my way to the front of Titch's queue.
Going back to flags - what sort of size did you have in mind ? Are we talking traditional ' up the pole ' or trendy teardrops/feathers/blades ? Perhaps we could pursue this discussion by email privately as it's not strictly speaking to do with old lawnmowers.
Thank you for your…
Thank you for your suggestions Lee, and I'm glad you like the new T Shirt.
I will look into the tow hitch cover idea; my initial reaction is that it could be a case of producing a suitable transfer to apply to existing covers. It might not be quite so easy to find a supplier of customised covers as I'm not sure on the spur of the moment what they are like. Leave it with me.
As a short term measure though don't forget we already have the OLC ' Car Sticker ' roundel which could be applied to any number of surfaces, not just cars.
