Thank you for your nice comments, much appreciated. I did write a bit about the restoration with some photos but doesn’t seem to be added for some reason? I am a new member so really enjoyed working with on the zephyr, great project.

Myself and others will certainly enjoy seeing the restoration photos.

As when I have added content, once the hourglass spinny thing loads the picture, click the insert button and photo will appear in the white square box, where the text is, if you do this and see the photo in the white box, then it will post.

What I do is post one photo, them another.

Apologies

for late reply. Thank you for your help loading images. I had some issues loading them. Will try and post a few more of restoration?

Finally managed to add a few more photos of the restoration. All the parts were stripped down by hand, cleaned then applied two coats of etching primer, two coats of JD green enamel paint then finally two coats of 2k clear.

apart from new replacement cylinder bearings, I managed to keep all and original parts. The cutting cylinder and bed knife were sharpened and set.

Overall I was really pleased with the refurb. I pan doing another  one this winter.

Thank you for looking.
