Hello forum admin team,

I see that some kind soul has removed the duplicate posting that I placed yesterday, for this I say thank you. This leads me to my question, the main reason for this posting.

I am sure that we used to have the ability to correct an error in a posting even after we had pressed the save button? This may not have got me out of trouble in the event of my double posting but it has come to my rescue a couple of times to correct an error.

Ray.

Thanks for the query. I've looked into this and you're not wrong, but not entirely correct either.

As far as I can tell the software running the site allows you to edit your own forum topic (ie any topic you start) but not replies to other members' topics. I'm not sure why this is the case, and it is a bit silly, but I'll see if I can find a way around it.
