This 16" JP Super Power (Type 22) mower was introduced in 1928, a year after the famous 24" water-cooled JP, and has a JAP engine of 125cc (possibly specially made for JP). This mower was made in 1938 and unlike the early ones features a clutch on the cutting cylinder as well as a clutch on the rear rollers. The front rollers could either be wood or aluminium.
The Super hand mower, also 16", was made in 1947 and is a Bowling Green model with speeded-up cutter speed; a multi-blade cutter was also available. The cylinder cutter is interchangeable with that of the 16" power mower.
