I cannot remove roller as there is a grub screw which I can't reach.

On the cylinder end, I can't remove bottom blade or cylinder. I've tried a punch to no avail.

 

Any thoughts, friends and mentors ?

Update: managed to remove cylinder. Spindle had a pin/rod in it. See photo.

Can't remove roller or bearings . How to remove round disc with 3 holes in it ?

Hi David

I did once strip down a Maxees 3 but, it was years ago and all I can remember was it took lots of 'Plus Gas', patience and plenty of expletives!! so sadly, I cannot really offer you much help, sorry!

An Impact Driver is a very useful bit of kit to have....in my opinion ! It certainly helped get the bottom blade of my latest JP Mini Mower.
