Hi Bob I've added a version…
Hi Bob
I've added a version of your photo to your profile. You can change it using the instructions below.
These will work for anyone registered on the site to add or change the photo on their own profile.
- Log on to the site
- Go to My Club & Content menu
- Click on My Own Profile
- Your profile will open in editing mode
- Scroll down to Picture (between 2/3 and 3/4 down the page)
- Click Remove if you want to remove or change an existing image
- Click Add to add a new image
- Browse your device to find the photo/image you want to use
- The image will upload to your profile and will be saved in your personal folder on the site
- Scroll to bottom of the editing page
- Click Save
- All done!
A few points to remember...
- The image is only used alongside your posts on the forum and as part of your Profile
- The system will automatically adjust the size of the image to 80x80 pixels
- This equates to around 25-30Kb file size
- The site will not allow you to upload an image that is bigger than 30Kb for the profile
- Use a photo editing app (eg Photoshop, GIMP, etc) to adjust the size of your image before you start. Don't forget to save the image with a different name to avoid overwriting the original.
- The site's system will only allow you to upload an image that is 30Kb or less.
- As a general rule, a photo of between 80x80 to 100x100 pixels will be small enough to upload.
- You can choose any image in the JPG, JPEG, GIF, or PNG formats.
- The system will tell you if the filesize is too large
Good luck!
