Hello Alan
A photo of your mower would be helpful as the Mk10 20in was produced for a 13yr period so design would no doubt have changed. They sold around 1400 of this model,
This is the only image I can lay my hands on at present, assume the tank may have just had two small transfers 'Petrol' & 'Oil'. Hope that helps & please post an photo.
Thanks for your help Clive…
Thanks for your help Clive and Colin. These are the only photos I have (I'm helping a friend)
The engine cover appears to have had a royal crest (George V1 ?) and perhaps a scroll.
The oil/fuel tank also appears to have had a scroll.

Thanks Alan, yes as said…
Thanks Alan, yes as said they probably changed during the production period but we can now see what you are looking, Colin will take forward.
Out of interest can you let me know the machine serial number, (prefix B followed by four numbers) possibly on a metal plate on the side panel, may be able to give an indication of manufacture date.

All, or nearly all, becomes clear. Clive can probably confirm the approx. date of the machine but I'm assuming that George VIth. ' badging ' is appropriate. So you need the scroll for the tank, and Royal Crest and scroll on the engine cover; I don't think there is any reference to oil/petrol. What is not quite so certain is what's on the chain-case, maybe a large scroll as on Clive's illustration. If you have a grassbox it will have another Royal Crest and scroll.
It's worth bearing in mind that it's unlikely that you will find an exact definitive original example in good order and even sales brochures and factory studio shots may not be totally reliable. Also, as Clive points out, there could well have been minor variations over the production run.
Currently the Club Shop does not have the exact transfers but we have artwork on file to be able to reproduce them relatively easily I think. If you would like to pursue this please email me direct - colin.stone@oldlawnmowerclub.co.uk
Colin/Clive, Thanks once…
Colin/Clive,
Thanks once again. I'll be in touch.

A good, clear photo or two…
A good, clear photo or two of your machine will help identify the age of it. It is possible that the Club Shop stocks the appropriate transfers. Try me !
