Christopher's passion for old lawn mowers started in childhood, but it was in the late 1970s that he started collecting, and over the years since then he has built up an impressive collection of early hand and motor mowers. After a career in the auction profession, where he specialised in mechanical antiques, particularly musical boxes and gramophones, he is now semi-retired. He has been a member of the club since the start and served on the committee since 2007. In addition to offering specialist advice to fellow collectors, Christopher also conducts the auction at the club's annual rally. 

Responsibilities include:

  • answers queries about Greens mowers
  • answers queries about Shanks mowers
  • conducts auction at club's annual rally

Christopher is married and lives with his wife and family in Kent.
