Advertise Your Mowers

Use this form to provide us with information about an old lawn mower you wish to sell through the Old Lawnmower Club. If your advertisement is accepted we will send you an email to confirm. The advert will then be included on the classified section of our website. Advertisements are free of charge and will run on the site for a minimum of one month.

Please do not use this form to tell us about mowers available elsewhere (such as auction sites) as we will not use this information.

We are not interested in modern mowers - anything made since 2000 (and probably a lot earlier) will not be of interest to our members.

Notes:

  • The Old Lawnmower Club cannot give valuations or advise on prices of mowers.
  • Advertisers should agree prices direct with potential buyers. If you have an asking price in mind, please enter it in the "Asking Price" box on the form so that it can be included with the advert.
  • Only potential sellers from the UK should use this form. If you have any queries or are from outside the UK please send an email instead.
  • This form is intended for submitting details of single mowers. To advertise more than one machine please complete a new form for each mower. Alternatively, send an email instead.
  • Boxes marked * are required. Please enter "Unknown" if you are unsure of the correct information. An email address must be included.
  • The Club reserves the right to refuse an advert if it does not qualify for inclusion.

You must include your name and a valid email address for the advert to be included. If you do not have all the other information simply leave the relevant box blank.

The model name if known
Date (or approximate) when the mower was made
The cutting width (the length of the cutting cylinder) in inches
The manufacturer of the engine. Leave blank for hand mowers.
Does the mower have its grass box?
Asking price in UK pounds. Please leave blank if mower is offered for free
Your telephone number. Leave blank if you prefer contact by email only
Buyers will expect to collect: your location helps them decide if travel is practical
Are you a member of The Old Lawnmower Club?
You can add up to five images (20Mb max each) to appear with your advert. We will not use any that are unsuitable.
Maximum 5 files.
20 MB limit.
Allowed types: gif, jpg, jpeg, png.
You may add some brief notes about the mower if you wish. This can include, for example, if the mower is complete (or which parts are missing if not), whether it runs (in the case of a motor mower), and anything else that might be of interest to a collector. We can use some of this information in the advertisement but we may need to edit it.
