Site Update: Easier Links

Over the next few weeks we will be updating some more features on this site. In particular, we will be be aiming to make it easier for members to create their posts on the Forum and other sections. The first new feature will make it simpler to add links to other pages on the site. Now, when you click on the link icon when creating a post you will see a new dialogue box pop up. As before, you can enter any web address (on this site or any other) directly into this box or you can use the file-browser link to locate files you have uploaded yourself.

However, the new feature allows you to start typing in the dialogue box and the site will automatically search for any page or file (including images) on the site with a title containing the words you have typed. The page or file's title is listed with the username of the person who created it and the date (this should help you find the page or file you want). Simply click on the one you want and then "save" and the link is automatically generated. You can then continue to create your post as normal. 

We are also making a few tweaks to the text formatting and alignment features available on the editor.
