Our new section, launched today, aims to tell the story of the invention of the lawnmower and the developments in its design that followed in the middle part of the 19th century. The basic story of the invention of the lawnmower has been retold many times in print, on TV and radio, and online. But few if any of these go much further than the basic details. Now, for the first time, we are bringing more of the available information together in one place to tell this important story in much greater detail than ever before.
