Qualcast electronic ignition

Hi,

I have a Qualcast 7A mower with a type 75 G14 engine.

It had a poor spark and after inspection I realised that the points were in poor condition.

I purchased a replacement electronic ignition module and fitted it.

Now I have no spark.

3 questions,

1 Is this set up suited to fitting an electronic module ?

2 Have I fitted it correctly ?

3 If so, is it likely to be a faulty module ?

Any feedback would be welcome and appreciated.
