New member – Restoring a Ransomes Marquis Mk 4A and looking for help dating it

Hi everyone,

I’ve just joined the club, so thought I’d introduce myself! 

I’ve been into restoring vintage cylinder mowers for a while now and have been working on a number of Suffolk Punches and Ransomes.

I’m currently restoring a Ransomes Marquis Mk4A and would love to find out a bit more about it, particularly its age and year of manufacture.

If anyone can help me date mine, I’d really appreciate it. I’ve shared some details below if that helps.
