MP Mower Pusher

Sitting inside the ex SEGB mobile show room is this unusual MP Mower Pusher
The lever for raising or lowering the live driven rollers.
The wooden rollers are raised clear of the ground to mower.
This model had a short production run before Ransomes reverted back to the more conventional mower pushers.

Mower pushers are unusual enough, but this is one of only two I know of this design, because they would have been hopeless. 

The rolls are live driven off the engine, with the large lever raised they rotate clear of the ground, when the lever is lowered so the whole pusher with weight of the operator is lowered to the ground. 

Can you imagine the damage to the turf
