Channel 4 has made the recent series of How Britain Worked available on YouTube. The episode from the Birmingham Botanical Garden featuring the new Budding mower, made with the help of club member Brian Radam, can be found here or by clicking on the image. The whole programme is interesting but for anyone with limited time the section on the mower starts at about 19:30 into the video.

Hot on the heels of the Antiques Roadshow last weekend, the Channel 4 programme How Britain Worked will feature Guy Martin rebuilding an early (we assume Budding style) lawn mower. It's on Channel 4 on Sunday 25 November, 8pm, and repeated on 4seven during the following week.
