Atco Lightweight
I have just rescued what I believe to be a Atco Lightweight. Still with vintage shape tank and silencer and kick start. Cutting cylinder is 12" across. Needing help to approximately day this...I think could be late 40's ?
No plate on frame anywhere, but Villiers engine appears original and has the number 764 cast on the top of the crankcase together with 59 45 beneath it. Any ideas gratefully received. Thank you.
Paul.

That's very interesting Trevor. I reckoned it must be early 50's but the identification plate is missing on mine.
How does your engine number compare with mine ?
