Rare historic Bamfords Lawnmower Old Vintage Push Cylinder pre 1936 Antique JCB | eBay UK

This is on Ebay,looks similar to a Qualcast Panther . Anyone any knowledge of Bamford making mowers or just a rebadged Qualcast?

Hello Dave

It does appear to be a 1960s/70s Qualcast Panther  with a Bamfords transfer, possibly some sort of celebration but not significant. It was Bamfords & Sons centenary in 1971?

We purchased a vintage ride on mower and somebody had stuck a modern Massey Ferguson sticker on the front (as they had removed the original badge)

Somebody though it was a Massey Ferguson!

Mind you, badge engineering is nothing new!
