Need some help and advice. Fixing a rather old Suffolk super punch for the local bowling club. The problem we haven’t any spark at the plug, tried different plugs still no spark. Flywheel is intact and has good magnetics inside. The coils resistance is 2.71 so all good . Hasn’t  a dead man’s switch so the wire from coil not needed. It’s not original coil , someone before has fitted this one see pics , not sure how long ago , but it looks fairly new. My only thoughts it’s the wrong replacement coil ? Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

I can't see a set of points on your mower.  Image from my Punch attached taking the same measurement - ignore the resistance value, but zoom in on the coil area and you can see the points.
