Balmoral 14s engine throttle pictures

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has a picture of the throttle set up on a balmoral 14s, I have recently bought one and feel that there is something not quite right. The engine only runs smoothly on 1/2 choke the throttle control doesn't do much apart from stop the engine and the self propelled control wants me to run a 4 minute mile when activated, I have fallen in love with this mower and really would like to see it running perfectly. Hi Daniel,

I will take a photo of the throttle linkage of mine Balmoral this morning. From you description, having the choke closed 1/2 way, I think your carb is dirty with fuel residue and needs taking apart and cleaning.
I also recommend using Aspen 4 (blue) as fuel since regular Euro 95 E10 has a tendency of gunking up and attracting water with its ethanol content.
