A 14” Silens Messor I recently found. Seems fairly complete. Brass tag numbering system. Same number for grassbox as mower. Was advised could have been either Council or very large estate owned.

Wow! Another great find Sean. Grass straight onto the cutting cylinder with the wooden roller set up, fantastic. Lovely ornate grass box too and in great condition.  Brilliant photos.

Another lovely original mower Sean & although  a later SM mid 1920s is is 100yrs old.  The repair at base of handle is part of the charm, probably a hard worked looked after mower and as we said ppssibly local authority or large estate owned due to the brass tag '37', get out there & find the earlier ones 1 to 36 :)
