Clive1997
This little mower now thought to be the oldest in the world, earlier than the only two full sized Budding mowers known, is now on temporary display in Stroud Museum until 1st Nov 2026. At a later date it will find a permanent position in the museum.
The mower was featured in Grassbox No.132.

Good to hear the Budding's…
Good to hear the Budding's Patent model is now on display at The Museum in The Park, Stroud, the spiritual home of The Lawnmower, a mere 2 1/4 miles from where the first lawnmower was made at John Ferrabee's Phoenix Ironworks at Thrupp.
Now half of the known 6 surviving mowers made by the original Lawnmower manufacturer; Ferrabee's are housed in this Museum!
I shall have to pop in to the fabulous Stroud Museum, at Stratford Park, Stroud to admire it!
