I am restoring a Qualcast 35s and the side panels and collection box are faded through exposure to sun/UV. I have seen suggestions that heating with a heat gun, or using vaseline, or using Back-to-Black silicone will restore the colour. Does anyone have any suggestions which they have found successful?

Hi, I would recommend spraying the sidepanels in the correct colour using acrylic paint and use a plastic dressing on the collection box, hence it is softer plastic. I use this on Atco and Webb grassboxes and it does wonders:
