ATCO 20” catcher
Hi all,
I have just come into possession of a 20” ATCO series 172055 mower num 20L52. Unfortunately it did not come with a catcher and I am after any info, specs or even photos of one so I can make one myself.
Any information would be helpful.
Cheers

Sorry about the minimum information. Here is the mower in question and the front page of the manual book which I found on this site but I believe it to be an atco light. There are no other markings I can see (unless someone knows somewhere I’m not looking) apart from saying that it is a 2 stroke atco with a Villiers engine

Unfortunately a bit older than any of my literature but the attached snap of a slightly later grass box may help. Hopefully, another forum contributor, more into earlier machines, will have something more useful.

Catchers or 'grass boxes' in any sort of reasonable condition can be hard to come by, especially for the less common larger sizes.

Suggest getting up close to (say) a 14 inch catcher and taking dimensions from that to scale up, as appropriate. Fourteen inch catchers are fairly common in Oz, although there are two or more designs of them, some more "open", others more "closed" (such as the style of the one in the parts diagram posted by wristpin).

Those numbers don't mean a lot, a model name will help but best of all an IMAGE of the machine.
