Good evening. I was returning my mowers back into storage and in the corner of the garage was a sign I acquired quite a few years back, it’s a casting for a Suffolk Acre, circular in shape around 10 inches to a foot in diameter with 4 fixing threaded holes, now I’ve had it hanging on the wall for years, I always thought it was off a line marker but having bought two Suffolk line markers recently, I don’t think it’s from one, Google hasn’t really helped, it’s a wonderful ornament but I would like to know what the machine it came from looks like, anyone have any info I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Could it have been a sign for the 'Suffolk Acre' charity which I think has now merged & changed its name?

It's from a sports pitch marker, which would have had a 2 inch front roller, I have the name plate and handles, which I've had for tears, but not seen a whole one.

Suffolk did a "suffolk" & a "norfolk" both of which were tennis court markers as they had narrower delivery rollers
