Anzani Lawnrider video
I notice in the blurb preceding the video of the British Anzani Lawnrider that its predecessor the Easimow is described as the "Ferring Easimow". Before this name becomes written into official history it should be noted that the Easimow was manufactured by a company called R F Ranger who were based at Ferring, Near Worthing in Sussex; the design being later sold to British Anzani. To the best of my knowledge,at no time was the machine called the "Ferring Easimow" .
While this may be seen as a minor and pedantic point I feel that as the OLC may be seen as "an authority" every effort should be made in the pursuit of accuracy - we don't want another Robin Reliant situation!
Easimow
Hi Angus,
Quite agree,BUT if you happen top come across a 16" cutting deck with cylinder bottom blade etc, I need one. Have the rest of machine but it has a home made hybrid deck!!! Part Atco, part Suffolk etc, etc. all bodged together by the previous owner. I would like to replace withb the correct one.
And it is an early Ranger not Anzani.
Cheers
Clive
