Ransomes Astral Mk2 14"

I've added a nice original condition Astral Mk2 to my collection today. This cuts wonderfully as it is but would benefit from a re-sharpen. What would be the age range of one of these? Talking to the chap I collected it from, he tells me his father acquired this around 50 years ago from a bowling club in Ashington. He only sold this reluctantly to me as it's fairly heavy and as he's in his 90's thought it was time to let it go.
