Shredded belt
I need a new drive belt for my Webb, I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a supplier. The machine is a 1960s 18inch, and the stretched and shredded belt is 37 inches long by three-eighths wide. I wouldn't mind betting it has stretched by a good inch over time. And it looks too narrow for the pulley wheels, as if a half-inch V belt would be better. Any ideas?

As this is a 'clutching' belt
As this is a 'clutching' belt, I would advise you to make sure it is a fabric covered belt, or better still a kevlar belt, a normal belt will not last any length of time.
Thanks very much, fellers.
Thanks very much, fellers. That's what I call excellent help! The old mower will be back in action soon.

I had a few minutes this morning and out of curiosity had a quick search and found this page which looks to have a huge selection of pattern belt equivalents, and thus looks a useful future resource, includes the one referred to in this thread, in a fabric/kevlar form.

If this has just the one belt
If this has just the one belt then I'm thinking this will be the DB3600 belt, later numbered W28419 which should help a quick search.
