Very nice job!

Are you intending to do the grass box, too (or is the decal an insurmountable problem there)?

The grass box was an acquisition after the fact as it originally didn't have a box when I got it. The box must have been sat in damp conditions as both ends were quite badly rusted to the point where it needed to be sorted in some way. But the front of the box with the decal wasn't in bad shape at all, so I thought i'd leave it.

I don't think the deflector plate is the original Greens part, either.

Also, does anyone know what the correct term for the little flip-top oil filler that would go on the chain case? I'm not having much luck in finding a new one, if they are still available.

Thanks for the link for the little oiler.  It's a push fit so i'll have to put a vernier on it to be sure but they look good.

If you mean a Zephyr deluxe like this one then the best place is either the adverts on this clubs' website or the good old auction sites. But they do tend to go for quite a bit more than they are worth, if you ask me. The deluxe model is certainly the rarer of the push zephyrs and i've only seen about three come up on ebay over the last two years ( I may have missed a few, though, as i'm usually only on there as and when I need something). I think they made them in 12", 14" 16", and 18" but i'm no expert and i'm sure there are members on here who will correct me if i'm wrong.
I got mine from and old guy who used to have a grinding and sharpening shop. It was sat in his window for 30 years! slowly going grey with all the grinding dust. I asked several times if he would sell it but he always politely refused. Though he did help me with a few bits for the Ajax that I did. He had about 7 or 8 of those in various states of repair lying about. Unfortunately, he died 2 years ago and there were some photos of the ajax that i'd finished on his desk with a note from me and when his brother-in-law was going through his things to sort out his estate he came across the pictures of the ajax and rang me and asked if I would like to buy it. Needless to say I jumped at the chance. I was like a child who had looked at a toy in a shop window for years but couldn't have it.

I was like a child who had looked at a toy in a shop window for years but couldn't have it.

I think we can all identify with that feeling. smiley

And persistence and politeness can certainly pay off.
