AFTER THE EXCITING NEWS THAT A FERRABEE & Co.  ORIGINAL BUDDINGS PATENT   (  TYPE BUILT FROM 1830 - C.1852)   SCALE MODEL HAD BEEN DISCOVERED.

I THOUGHT I WOULD ADD MORE INTERESTING INFO.  AFTER ALL JOHN FERRABEE & Co.  IS THE FIRST COMPANY IN THE WORLD TO MANUFACTURE MOWERS.

SO. THE REGISTERED IMPROVEMENT DESIGN  No.3074 WAS INTRODUCED 1852, AND HAD IRON CASTORS AT THE FRONT.

ON THE SAME PAGE IN THE MAGAZINE

The Gardeners' Chronicle and Agricultural Gazette - Google Books

I ALSO FEATURE SHANKS ADVERT,  THE LATTER BEING THE SECOND COMPANY IN THE WORLD TO TAKE UP MOWER MANFACTURE IN THE EARLY 1840'S.

Again the same Publication of the years editions,   in the  June 1852  edition of  The Gardeners Chronicle / Agricultural Gazette: we find a testimonial / review by A Pettigrew of Cheetham Hill, Manchester

Concerning the very important (as mentioned previously; registered Improvement No. 3074)   improvement on the Buddings Patent of the front castors.

Another  article in the same 1852 compendium, for the First and original manufacturer of the lawn mower  JOHN FERRABBEE & SONS.

Interesting to note, on the same page; one of the wholesalers / retailers which had been selling Ferrabee / Budding Mowers since the 1840's (at least ) was  Cottam &  Hallen.

Many publications and trade fairs of the period note their selling of the Buddings Patent Mower.

1852 Being the year the castors were introduced to the front;  The Hare Engraving shows an original Buddings Patent 1830-51/2  Machine!
