AFTER THE EXCITING NEWS THAT A FERRABEE & Co. ORIGINAL BUDDINGS PATENT ( TYPE BUILT FROM 1830 - C.1852) SCALE MODEL HAD BEEN DISCOVERED.
I THOUGHT I WOULD ADD MORE INTERESTING INFO. AFTER ALL JOHN FERRABEE & Co. IS THE FIRST COMPANY IN THE WORLD TO MANUFACTURE MOWERS.
SO. THE REGISTERED IMPROVEMENT DESIGN No.3074 WAS INTRODUCED 1852, AND HAD IRON CASTORS AT THE FRONT.

Interesting to note, on the same page; one of the wholesalers / retailers which had been selling Ferrabee / Budding Mowers since the 1840's (at least ) was Cottam & Hallen.
Many publications and trade fairs of the period note their selling of the Buddings Patent Mower.
1852 Being the year the castors were introduced to the front; The Hare Engraving shows an original Buddings Patent 1830-51/2 Machine!
