I see you have been after an ATCO HY 12" for some time.
Like all collectables, it is often finding what you want is the hardest part, rather than actually the purchasing.
Best way to go about is naturally:-
Mingle with club members and collectors, if they have the mower they purchased with aim to do, but are disposing of now due to time and other project commitments, (so posting on the OLC Forum a good step)
Vintage Club Bring and buy "car boot" events, Online auctions, local general auctions, visit reclamation and salvage yards, social media market places, local newspaper advertisements, visit Garden machinery dealers with old mowers that have been traded in.
I myself have placed wanted advertisements in various publications over the years; often a wall of silence is met, but sometimes you do get given things for free by lovely people, as they know you will love and cherish their once cherished mower's or offered things at favourable enthusiasts / mates rates.
Sometimes it takes years to find the machine or part that you desire! (then you usually get several the same all at once)
