The Webb Lawn Edge Trimmer

Having seen Sean's great looking Green's Lawn Edgers I thought you may like to see some photos of my Webb Lawn Edge Trimmer that came with the Webb '2 Speed' Push Mower that I acquired from the late Dave Stanfords collection.

The photo showing both the 2 Speed and the Edger shows where the Edger attaches to the left hand side of the mower body.

Dear Rob,

Please find this photograph I took at the Club stand at the  Malvern Autumn Garden Show in September 2017; you will see the machine you are now custodian of.

Hi Paul. That's amazing, thanks. You are right, the Red handles, small section of alloy tubing attaching the handles to the mower. It has to be the same mower. Back in October 2019 I added a Forum Post entitled ' Webb 2 Speed 12" Push Mower ' where I asked for peoples opinion on the mower as I was thinking of looking for one. Clive Gravett added some comments along with a photo of the mower that I believe I now have that he took back in 2008 at the OLMC Rally. I got a pair of the Pram Handles that the mower would have originally been supplied with.  The mower is currently with The Old Lawnmower Company in Tring where John Gregory will be fitting a new Bottom Blade along with a new Cutting Cylinder that is currently being made by Garfitts International in Sheffield. Should be good for another 60 years after John has sorted it. Thanks again Paul,  much appreciated.

Here are the photos of the HRG edger you spoke about. I was contacted by the HRG sports car club who got me to help them write an article for their last newsletter. Referring back to tread on rollers or wheels you can see the very wide treads clearly on the roller. I will create a separate thread soon with a link to the article.
