Another how old is my mower post I’m afraid it’s  a 21” rotary with a Aspera LAV 35 engine and Del Orto carb I think it should be green and ivory shouldn’t it ? What year is it please

Hello, I do not have a great deal of info on these, this model design introduced in 1960 & continued in the Ivory/Green colours well into the 70's.

I think & am happy to be corrected that they initially used the Villiers vertical shaft F/1 engine, possibly to at least 1963, later the Aspera that you have.

Not sure if anyone can date the engine from your info?

If not we are often left to date machines from minor changes in design when compared with brochures, manuals etc.

Image below of a few parts lists/instruction book that I have found, but the lack of dating on these doesn't help that much, although the one on the left is possibly 1962/3 & the right may be 1967?
