28 Leicester Square
The Museum of Nation Manufactures was held at 28 Leicester Square, London during 1834. Before the event, 28 Leicester Square was the home of surgeon John Hunter who acquired a large collection of anatomical specimens. It was then briefly The International Hotel but a London insurance map of 1888 shows the premises as being occupied by Hawkes & Co. The site is now a pub belonging to a national chain and located between the Odeon Cinema (formerly the Alhambra Theatre) and Capital Radio.
