Baker Street Bazaar
The Baker Street Bazaar to the west of Baker Street in London was originally a horse and carriage market but quickly became a large fashionable retail area, with many independent shops for the affluent in society. Various advertisements attest that "The Manager of The Agricultural Department" was an agent for selling Ferrabee lawnmowers.
The Bazaar started to host events in 1827 and many notable horticultural and agricultural shows, such as Smithfield Show, were held there. Madame Tussaud's waxwork museum was at one time also located in the same buildings. The Bazaar was destroyed during WW2 and was rebuilt afterwards, becoming for a time the head office of Marks and Spencer.
