Henry and James Ferrabee's Partnership Dissolved

In 1852 Henry Ferrabee, along with his brother James, succeeded their father John in running the Phoenix Ironworks at Thrupp. The partnership was dissolved by mutual consent in 1855.

Despite this, Henry collaborated with James on a gas patent and exhibited sewing machines in 1862 at the International Exhibition in London, as well as sharing 75/76 Holborn, the family business's London address. When not in London, Henry lived in Linden's Cottage, part of the Ferrabee's property in Brimscombe. Henry outlived James by 10 years.
