Greens & Shanks Medals at International Exhibition

Greens and Shanks were both awarded a medal at The International Exhibition of 1862, held at Kensington in London. Ferrabee was "highly commended" although the citation notes that the company had created "the original of the whole class".

Several other companies - including Samuelson, Ransomes and May, and Picksley Sims - associated with lawnmower production at the time also received medals or commendations but not for their lawnmower products.
