When the box E has been filled with cut grass, it is raised and emptied into the large box at the back of the machine by simply depressing the handle 4, which moves the segment B, gearing into the pinion C, and so raises the arm D, upon which the front box E is hung. The large grass carrier can be quickly over-set or lifted off the machine.
