Greens Advertisement in Gardeners Chronicle
A small advertisement with a single engraving appearing in The Gardeners Chronicle on the 26th September 1863 for a machine resembling the familiar "Silens Messor" design as we recognise it.
GREEN'S LATEST IMPROVED PATENT NOISELESS LAWN MOWING, ROLLING, and COLLECTING MACHINES, which gained the First P Medal of the International Exhibition.
Patronized by Her Most Gracious Majesty the Queen during the seasons of 1862 and 1863.
These Machines have proved to be the best, and have carried off every prize that has been given in all cases of competition.
