Grimmond, Laird and Co Advertisement in The Engineer

A rare and low key advertisement for Grimmond, Laird & Co. in The Engineer magazine. 15 Cannon Street was their London office although the company was based at St Catherine's Engine Works in Arbroath.

Although the company promoted its Morton's Patent Lawnmower in The Gardeners Chronicle and Farmers Almanac in 1863 there is no mentioned of it in this advertisement. This may well be because the readership of The Engineer would be unlikely to buy a lawnmower.
