Some close-up photographs of the youngest Budding's Improved Mower known to survive, serial number 8043. This mower is located at The Museum in the Park in Stroud, and was manufactured by The Phoenix Iron Works Company in around 1863.
The mower has the name "Phoenix Iron Works Company" cast into the side frame whereas earlier mowers had the words "J. Ferrabee & Co."
The Phoenix Iron Company name is listed in trade directories only for 1863.
